I will NEVER explain this character's background. Never ever.
EDIT: Hmm... I feel the sudden need to clarify pronounciation: KRIS-chee-ah-na (like Christian) (c) =CaptainEvie Comments
...does she have anything to do with Klavier and Kristoph Gavin?
'Cause I swear...that hair and necklace...it looks TOO FAMILIAR. xD I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE ALREADY THIS GOOD AT PHOTOSHOP. I'M SO PROUD OF YOUUUU. -- "With some imagination and a little science, we can make the world a better place." - Lewis from Meet the Robinsons. God is my idol. She does (to Klavier, at least), but that's all I'll say....
THANK YOU SO MUCH ;3; I spent all day fooling around instead of studying. I still need to work on inking (inked this on paper first ^^), but I'll keep trying. I hope to be as good as you someday. YOU'RE MY HERO -- Bring me that horizon... Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! Looks good. you've gotten a lot better since I last got on. I suggest that you try more shading. there should be more shadow, like around the eyes, under the lip and around the collar bone/dip in the shoulders. It's very good though, I like it.

With this drawing, the purple background does make her stand out, although if there was a background with more substance (or even the hint of a little more background) it would be alot more interesting to look at in total.
You've put some great attention to detail in there. The necklace looks good, and I love the almost "Mona Lisa" type of smile. The eyes stand out very well.
I do also like the circles you've put on the left. It almost remonds me of "out of focus" type background lighting, as though there were several street lamps behind her, or that the purple was a fog that was blurring them. A little too "abstract" to be called a true background, but adds much to the picture.
Overall, great job!
