What an eventful day.....

Captain's Log
COMMISSIONS

So, yesterday I woke up and thought I was dying XD I had a terrible cough and could barely move, but I absolutely could NOT miss the One-Act Competition, so my mom loaded me up with Advil and Alevert and sent me on my way. Despite being sick, we managed to come in second place, which means we are going to the State Competition next week! ^^ Also, I won the Best Performer award!!!! :dance:

After the competition I felt pretty bad again, but went out and bought a DS and Professor Layton anyway ^^ The only thing is the screen is horribly calibrated, so I'll have to go exchange it later. Oh well. The game is pretty exciting so far :D

Also, if you guys can pray for me, that would be splendid. I'm very sick right now and it's not pleasant at all :C

Hello everyone! My name is Captain Evie, I am 17 years old and I have been drawing for about 5 years now. I prefer to draw on paper rather than on a tablet, which is why I have A LOT of sketchbooks (about 50), although I'll doodle on anything from tests to church bulletins. One thing I follow as an artist is that there's always room for improvement, and you will get better at drawing with time and practice. I've come a long way in my art since 7th grade, and I'm still learning new techniques. I am very easy to get along with and I try very hard to be friendly towards everyone, whether you've been drawing long before I have or are just getting started. We are all equals here ^^ Also, as I am always discovering new things with my art, I enjoy improving and bettering my skills. I will never get mad at someone for critiqueing me! In fact, I very much enjoy it because it shows me what I've done poorly and gives me a chance to make it better in the future. I am always here for my friends and fellow deviants, so don't hesitate to ask if you have a question! :D
